Only in recent years have we witnessed the well deserved props be given to females for their contributions to DJing. Being that we strive to build an enriched DJ community, it’s important for folks to know what, and/or who, makes our culture a melting pot of diversity. It’s not all about one genre, one gender, one geographic location…it’s about one love within one culture. I recently had the pleasure of talking someone that continues to play a role in keeping the DJ culture moving. She represents San Francisco’s talent pool of House DJs and is known to many as Jamie Lin.
